Our Terms and Conditions

1. General Information

vivid.rent is operated by SIQSESS TECHNOLOGY SRL, a company registered in Romania, with its headquarters in Bucharest, District 1, Soseaua Bucuresti-Ploiesti no. 1A, 4th Floor, Building A, registered with the Trade Register under no. J40/10615/2019, with the unique registration code RO41511630.

These terms set out the conditions under which accommodation bookings can be made via vivid.rent. For questions or assistance, you can contact us at [email protected].

2. Scope of Activity

vivid.rent allows the booking of the apartments operated by SIQSESS TECHNOLOGY SRL, available for short-term or long-term rental.

3. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

The Guest is considered to have accepted the Terms and Conditions once full payment for the reservation has been made.

4. Payment and Security Deposit

All prices are expressed in RON and include VAT. Bookings through vivid.rent are paid by credit/debit card via the platform.

5. Use of the Apartments

The apartments are strictly for residential use.

The use of the apartments for parties or gatherings that may disturb neighbours is strictly prohibited. If at check-in it is deemed that the apartment is intended to be used for such purposes, check-in may be refused. If such events are discovered after check-in, immediate eviction will be required. In such cases, the Host is not obliged to provide an alternative apartment. Refunds are at the Host's discretion.

6. Amenities and Services

All apartments are fully equipped and furnished to a high standard.

Bed linen, towels, bathrobes, and bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, dental kit, hygiene kit, shaving kit, shower cap) are included in the accommodation price.

After each stay, the apartments are sanitized and disinfected. Linens, towels, bathrobes, and other textiles are replaced and cleaned according to standards.

Upon request, the Host may provide cleaning services during the stay, for an additional fee.

7. Guest Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests must be made in writing to [email protected].

• Free cancellation: reservations can be cancelled free of charge at least 3 days before check-in. Any advance payment will be fully refunded.

• Cancellation 2 days before check-in: 50% of the total booking amount will be withheld. The rest will be refunded.

• Cancellation less than 24 hours before check-in or no-show: no refund will be issued. The full amount will be charged as a penalty.

• Rescheduling: is accepted with at least 5 days' notice before check-in, subject to availability.

• Cancellations for exceptional reasons (e.g., medical emergencies, cancelled flights): each case will be assessed individually. Supporting documents may be required.

8. Host Cancellation Policy

In exceptional circumstances, the Host may deem it necessary to cancel your reservation and will make reasonable efforts to offer a suitable alternative. If this is not acceptable, and assuming the cancellation is not due to force majeure events (including but not limited to war, civil unrest, terrorism, labour disputes, natural or man-made disasters, fire, flooding, or severe weather conditions), the Host will refund any amount paid by the Guest.

9. Number of Guests

The maximum capacity of an apartment is 3 people. Exceeding this number without prior approval from the Host is not permitted.

Visitors (non-overnight guests) are only allowed during the day and must not exceed 4 persons. Parties are not permitted.

Children are welcome but must be included in the total guest count and always accompanied by an adult.

If the maximum number of guests is exceeded without approval, the Host reserves the right to charge an additional fee, cancel the stay without a refund, or deny access.

The apartment may not be sublet or rented to another group without written approval from the Host.

10. Check-in and Check-out

Apartments are self check-in properties. On the day of check-in, the Guest will receive all necessary access details.

Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. on the arrival day. The apartment key, building access tag, and parking card are available in the mailbox of each apartment.

Check-out is by 11:00 a.m. on the departure day. The apartment door must be locked using the key, which, along with the building access tag and parking card, must be returned to the mailbox and the mailbox securely locked so the access keys are not available to others.

Late check-out may be arranged but must be discussed in advance. If check-out is delayed beyond the agreed time, a full day's rental fee will be charged.

11. Damages

Please treat the apartment as if it were your own.

Guests are responsible for any damage or loss caused during the stay.

Additional charges may apply for repairs, cleaning, or other damages.

The property and all furnishings, equipment, utensils, etc., must be left clean and orderly at the end of the rental period. Except for normal wear and tear, the Guest is liable for any damage caused to the property or its contents due to negligence, intentional damage, or irresponsible behaviour. Such damages must be reported promptly to our representatives. The cost of repair or replacement must be agreed upon and paid to the Host. The Guest is responsible for ensuring that anyone visiting the apartment during the stay complies with the Host's policies.

12. Termination by the Host

The Host reserves the right to terminate a booking at any time due to abuse, breach of booking policies, mistreatment of the apartment, or criminal activity.

13. Loss or Injury

The Host is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings.

14. Right of Access

The Host's representatives and subcontractors have the right to access the property at any time, with prior notice to guests and with consideration for their comfort, for the purpose of inspection or essential maintenance and repairs.

15. Pets

Pets are not allowed, due to hygiene concerns and potential allergies of future guests.

The Host reserves the right to refuse access to the apartment if this condition is likely to be breached. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

16. Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartments or in the internal common areas of the apartment complex.

The Host reserves the right to deny access if this rule is likely to be violated. No refunds will be issued in this case.

Non-compliance will incur a cleaning fee of 750 RON.

17. Parties and Events

Parties, loud music, or private events are not allowed.

Quiet hours must be respected, especially between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.

Violation of these rules may lead to immediate termination of the stay without refund.

18. Complaints

Any complaint regarding the property or Host staff must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. The Host will take all necessary steps to resolve the issue. The Host is not responsible for complaints made after the rental period has ended.

19. Disputes

In the event of any dispute, the courts of Romania shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

20. Force Majeure

The Host shall not be held liable for any delay, loss, damage, or expenses incurred if the booking must be altered or cancelled due to events beyond the Host's control, including but not limited to war, civil unrest, terrorism, labour disputes, natural or man-made disasters, fire, floods, or adverse weather conditions.
